Cincinnati top 10 restaurants

One exciting thing about moving to a new place for residency is the chance to try a whole new city's worth of restaurants! Cincinnati Magazine publishes a yearly top 10 list of local restaurants, and it's a great place to start:

2012 Where to Eat Now from Cincinnati Magazine
1. Orchids at Palm Court (downtown)
2. Jean-Robert's Table (downtown)
3. The Palace (downtown)
4. Bouquet (Covington)
5. Nicola's (Over-the-Rhine)
6. Cumin (Hyde Park)
7. Senate (Over-the-Rhine)
8. Hugo (Oakley)
9. Boca (Oakley)
10. Sichuan Bistro (Mason)

Best new restaurants: Enoteca Emilia (O'Bryonville), Taste of Belgium (Over-the-Rhine), A Tavola (Over-the-Rhine), Abigail Street (Over-the-Rhine)

You can also find some more good options on the 2011 list.

Several of these are definitely special occasion only price range, but the list hasn't steered me wrong yet. (Keep an eye out for Groupons!)

  1. Hugo's was great for a special night out.

The Rookwood in Mt Adams is a cozy place with a neat menu.
